seems like a good alternative to healing burst

could probably run something like an ER prot but with dervish stuff:
"Each rank in Mysticism reduces the cost of your Dervish enchantments by 4%

The new Mystic Healing invalidates the whole premise of Avatar of Dwayna basically if you run party wide enchants.

Play:
Whirling Charge plays very much like Enraging charge if you do whirling charge --> attack.

4 second (5 with enchanting mods) instant cast Whirling charge = 41Heal every 6 seconds, without counting Lyssa's Haste buffing the 33% recharge. Healing burst is 10.5/sec at 13DF so you need to heal 60ish to match the pressure heal.

With Lyssa's Haste up, you get the heal every 4 seconds, which matches Healing Burst's pressure heal. The benefits are great since it is 0 cast and you pump out damage at the same time.

The weakness is conditions since Avatar of Dwayna only removes hexes. Bring someone with Foul Feast/Draw conditions/RC (Restore condition).

The idea is something simple that even a hero can run, provided you swap irresistible sweep or micro it, hence PvP only skills.

Other notes
Adrenaline attacks:
* 4: Aura slicer (cracked armor/bleeding)
* 5: Crippling victory (cripple), Reap impurities (pain in the butt to use with necros on team, [email protected]), Wearying strike (lose one enchant, deep wound)
* 6: Chilling victory ([email protected]), Radiant scythe(up to +27 and a flat +6 energy, +28 and +7 energy if you run 14 scythe), Rending sweep (Lose&remove one enchant,[email protected])
* 7: Twin moon sweep (lose one enchant, no damage but +100 or so heal + stance removal)
* 8: Reaper's Sweep [Elite] : Knockdown, lose one enchant
Banishing strike is a crappy version of power shot


Melandru

Avatar of Melandru can be subbed in for Avatar of Dwayna and Mysticism can be dropped to 9 or so, with wind prayers jacked up to 12 or so. It's the same thing, but condition removal every 4 seconds isn't as useful as a party heal/fast hex removal on a character that does damage. There's Restore conditions and It's only a Flesh wound, Draw conditions, foul feast, Martyr, Cautery Signet + Mantra of inscriptions for that. Party (pressure) healing is relegated to UA+ Divine Healing+Heaven's Delight and Healing burst. Protective was Kaolai can only be used every 25seconds and Life can only be used every 20.

Unlike with pressure healing, condition removal every 4 seconds versus every 6 seconds isn't a big difference. I'm a fan of the Dwayna template since it brings something to the table other melee cannot.

Except Pious Renewal is an elite skill. Either 2 teardowns like OP suggested or Pious assault, both builds with Lyssa's Haste + another teardown.

It's actually one self-ending enchant, whirling charge

It's intuitive enough to be run on a hero.

Lyssa's Haste is there just to make it recharge every 4 seconds.

I stand corrected. I was looking at the "other notes" part when writing. Very nice build I must say. I can't wait to test it with other elites too. Somehow I forgot about Whirling Charge yesterday as I did with Signet of Mystic Speed.

I'm thinking if you want to get out of frontline, 15-16 Mysticism would outdo Healing burst and UA in terms of pressure. You can't use Sand shards if you don't attack with a scythe and dust cloak is annoying if you're in mid/backline ...staggering force is terrible if you're not in melee range and it isn't very good to start with.

Mirage Cloak - 48% block...personal aegis... or use Fleeting stability, which gives net gain of energy (Drop earth prayers minor rune) = 7 recharge
Foul feast = 4 recharge
Dark fury - costs 6 energy, 5 recharge (6 energy every 6sec due to aftercast and cast time)
Mystic healing - 4 recharge (use when Dark Fury is up only) --> +106 always heals up sac from Dark Fury, as long you have less than 623 health. Don't bother using it unless you have to

it's lacking in the spot heal department, if you want a spike prot, you can put watchful intervention in place of mirage cloak.

If you ditch earth prayers with 2x 6 recharge skills (staggering force, dust cloak... which both need to be lose to targets) that need teardowns you get this...
